The Yacht Race

Our group challenge in Week 5 was a yacht race. Before you wonder how we got yachts and an ocean into the classroom we should explain that we are talking about origami yachts. The most challenging part was following the instructions to make the yacht. Then we had to set up the race course along the top of our desks. Then each person in the group had to blow their yacht from one end of the course to the other.

Mrs D was very proud of the Olympic Spirit we showed by playing by the rules, supporting each other and congratulating other teams on a good race.
